Why is my girlfriend mad? i just gave her a beef stew and she flipped out?

so me and my girlfriend were watching a movie. during the most emotional part of the movie, i decided it would be fun to pin her to the ground and fart in her face. after i farted all over her face she flipped out and screamed at me. i dont get it?
