Suede shoes care problem? Cleaner for suede messed it up!?

Grrr im so pissed off. I got my new adiddas gazelles today and when i was at the store (Finishline) they recommended a suede protector/cleaner. I Sprayed it on when i got home,followed the directions and everything. Then an hour later i when to check on it, and the suede was all splotchy. Now it looks faded black and weird. what do i do!!!!!
