How to get rid of acne aftermath/redness?

Start using a water based moisturizer, something with SPF (the sun could be causing some of the damage and redness), preferably something Neutrogena, you really don't want to mix products. You are right about cutting down on the acne medication. it should be gone in the amount of time you want it to be. good luck :)
