Do you think this guy likes me?

Theres this really cute guy in my homeroom and a lot of my cles. We usually sit by each other a lot and he always talks to me hes really funny. He tells me to text him and ill be like ok and he makes me pinky promise haha. sometimes if hes walking don the hall and theres no one there an im walking down the hall he'll stop me and ask me to webcam with him or call him. A few months ago he asked me if i thought he would ever have a chance with me..i said idk(but i actually like him). He claimed he asked out of curiosity. Does he like me or are we "just friends"
