Bronchitis,for over three weeks?

i had real bad chest three weeks ago,doctor said i had bronchitis,give me antibiotics and said i should feel better in a couple of days.i went back a week later still feeling very poorly,and coughing,got more antibiotics,and medicene,but im still so ill im coughing so bad(im non smoker)how long does this usually last,?thanks for your answers
